Requirements
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the technical strategy and architecture: define the stack, build the infrastructure, ensure scalability and data integrity.
- Hands-on build of our MVP / next-gen product: you will write code, lead engineering efforts, and iterate fast.
- Shape the product-engineering roadmap: work with founding team to prioritise features, set metrics, align on go-to-market.
- Own system reliability, performance, security — especially given the size & complexity of sports data.
- Recruit, mentor and build the early engineering team as the company grows.
- Work closely with leadership and investors: communicate technology vision, highlight opportunities and risks.
- Stay at the intersection of sports + tech + data: exploit the rich dataset SportBnk holds to build unique competitive advantage.
You Might Be a Fit If You…
-You thrive in a 0→1 environment: you love ambiguity, rapid iteration, wearing multiple hats, shipping early.
-You have strong full-stack or data-centric experience: e.g., web backend (Node, Python, Go…), frontend (React, Vue…), data pipelines / analytics / cloud infra.
-You’ve worked with large datasets / business intelligence / data-driven products.
-You have startup, scale-up or side-project experience — you’re comfortable with risk, pivots, direct ownership.
-You are motivated by equity, impact, shaping a company from the ground up, rather than just being a cog.
-You care about the sports sector (optional but helpful) and see how data, intelligence and tech can unlock value.
